Anne Heche, an American actress made her debut in the entertainment industry with the release of "Another World'. She accused her father prior to his death due to AIDS of sexually abusing her. Her relationship with her mother as well as the sole remaining sister became strained as they stood up for her father. She appeared in several television serials and films, including "Fatal Delight," "The Brave The Brave,' 'Wildside,' 'Walking and Talking' as well as 'I Know What You Did Last Summer. Her romance to Ellen DeGeneres drew widespread controversy in her professional career. She married Coley Leaffoon but separated from her afterward. Following that, she started dating James Tupper with whom she also had a child. In a memoir entitled "Call me Crazy" she relates the details of her troubled past including her relationship with a lesbian and abusive father. Following her breakup with DeGeneres she was confronted with emotional and psychological problems for which treatment was needed. Anne Heche passed away in Los Angeles on 6 August 2022 after six days of a deadly car accident. She passed away aged 53.
